Preinstalled Courseware
  • Axtol has integrated only courseware from partners that meet our exacting standards of quality, diversity and ease of use. A full list of available courseware can be found in our On-Line Courses section. Please also see our Partners list for details on content providers.
  • Axtol buys courses from Partners in bulk giving all KnowReS users the benefit of these discounts and the ability to enjoy a range of courses that would not normally be available to individuals.

Language selection

  • The KnowReS interface can be presented in a variety of currently available languages such as English, Danish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish. The language option can be changed by the user or remotely by an Administrator. Due to demand the language list is increasing rapidly, if you have a specific requirement please check with Axtol as it may now be available.

Security

  • Secure system access with role-based privileges is assigned to users by the administrator or appointed individuals.

User and Course Administration

  • KnowReS Administration Environment allows the setting up of new user accounts or groups and modification of existing accounts. The course-editing environment allows authors to collaborate on courseware and publish it to the end users in real time.

e-Learning Personal Desktop

  • Each users home page can be personalised to show important information regarding departmental or organisation wide notices, new courseware added, courses visited and current progress. New e-Mail is shown together with Links to relevant on-line knowledge sources.

Knowledge Environment

  • An intuitive and easy to use interface between your organisations Training/Knowledge resources and your staff. The ability to download or print courseware for off-line usage can be invaluable to those with laptops, working from home or who are on the move.

Message Centre

  • A secure on-line internal messaging system offers you the ability to access the Message Centre from any computer with access to your organisations KnowReS solution.

Conference Facility

  • Provides the ability to see who is currently online, converse electronically in real time and exchange and share files.

Note Pad Facility

  • Provides the ability for the student to create notes within Modules and search through notes for information.

Search Facility

  • A powerful search facility that allows users to search through courses, groups, notes and any other information contained within KnowReS including users.
