KnowReS is unique in that it offers Authors of course content the opportunity to create their own multimedia course content using the KnowReS Authoring Tool, and then resell the course content through the KnowPort system to virtually anyone who may want to use it. This gives SME’s the opportunity to create training courses for their own employees who have access to the system. It also allows them to recuperate their investment in producing the course, by reselling it to other companies or individuals who require similar courses.

KnowPort already contains over 800 IT and business courses with prices between £95 for ECDL to £255 for Web Development per individual per year. The option to create courses is available for £150 per Author per annum.

For those companies who require an LMS but do not wish to make their content public, Axtol can offer secure LMS hosting for £75/user and £150 for the authoring tool/author. All that is required by the client is a PC with Internet access and a suitable browser.
